After six weeks of watching his overdraft grow, Chris Thrasher can't wait for his fitness gym to reopen

After six weeks of watching his overdraft grow, Chris Thrasher can't wait for his fitness gym to reopen

He's the owner of Snap Fitness in the Christchurch CBD.

Thrasher says the news that gyms could open again under Level 2 was very welcome.

He says the lockdown has reinforced the importance of being fit, with many new faces walking and running on the streets.

Chris Thrasher says gym owners are clarifying social distancing gaps in gyms with the Government for the Thursday start.
