    A former Auckland chartered accountant has been sentenced to three years and nine months in jail for stealing more than a million dollars from clients


    Christopher George Wright misappropriated refunds from tax returns ...deposited in his accounting practice's trust account.

    The 64-year-old spent the refunds on gambling, friends and family, school fees and loan repayments.
