The Wellington Phoenix are targeting a June return to the training field

The Wellington Phoenix are targeting a June return to the training field

The A-League football season was suspended in mid-March with the players off the grass ever since.

But with the move to alert level 2, there's optimism training can restart in small groups soon.

Phoenix coach Ufuk Talay says there are protocols they need to follow before that can happen.
