Dunedin students couldn't resist partying up over the first weekend of Level 2

Dunedin students couldn't resist partying up over the first weekend of Level 2

Despite University of Otago pleas to continue to be responsible, the ODT reports couch fires, fireworks, and multiple parties caused headaches for Dunedin police.

Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen says police were called to three parties within three hours on Saturday night - all breaching the 10-person gathering rule.

Two men were arrested after being spotted by Campus Watch setting a couch on fire in the middle of Leith St .
