India has a daily tally of more than five-thousand-600 new cases - its biggest single spike yet.
Its total cases number more than 107 thousand, with three-thousand-300 deaths.
Brazil's outbreak has worsened, with its health ministry reporting 888 new deaths and nearly 20-thousand cases in a single day.
Globally, Covid-19 cases have nearly surpassed five million, with Latin America overtaking the US and Europe in the past week to report the most new daily cases.
