    Two people are dead following a serious accident in Palmerston North


    Police were called to the scene of the two-car crash on Napier Road about quarter past ten last night.

    Another person's understood to be in a serious condition.

    Police say the Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene, and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash will continue.
