    Police are thanking the public for their help identifying a man who forgot who he was, after a crash in Wellington


    The man was hospitalised in a serious condition on Friday after being hit by a vehicle near Riddiford Street in Newtown.

    He was unconscious over the weekend and woke up yesterday, struggling to remember personal details and with no ID.

    The man begun his recovery in intensive before being identified by police.
