Police are investigating after a man's body was found in the sea on the West Coast

They received a report of a dead person in the water off Point Elizabeth - near Greymouth - on Saturday afternoon.

The body is that of a man in his fifties.

They're looking into the circumstances - but the death is not thought to be suspicious.
