Labour released its party list for the election yesterday with Justice Minister Andrew Little slipping from third to seventh and Health Minister David Clark dropping from ninth to 17th.
Meanwhile Phil Twyford and Iain Lees-Galloway are both up one place each - to four and 13 respectively.
Political commentator Neale Jones says there's a straight-forward reason for these.
He says what they do at the start of the list is take the current cabinet rankings and put them at the top.
