Name suppression for Jiann-Hwa Maa lapsed today.
The sixty-year-old has appeared at the High Court at Auckland via videolink, helped by a Mandarin interpreter.
He's accused of killing 30 year old Club 574 manager Zion Gutnik - who was found dead at the Epsom brothel on March 10.
Maa wasn't arrested until late April, and Police say Gutnik knew his alleged killer.
The case will return to court in August.
