The Covid-19 women who drove from Auckland to Wellington had physical contact with friends
The women with Covid-19 who drove from Auckland to Wellington did have brief physical contact with two friends - an arm around one or both of the women.

They asked the friends for help before leaving Auckland - because they became lost when trying to find the motorway.
Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says after the friends discovered the pair tested positive, they isolated themselves immediately.
He says they have both been tested for Covid-19.
He says one person has tested negative, and the other result is still pending.
A man in his sixties who flew in to New Zealand from Pakistan on June 13 has now tested positive for covid 19 - and he is in quarantine at Auckland's Jet Park motel.
