The Government has accepted that distribution of personal protective equipment was not up to scratch

It comes after the Auditor-General John Ryan released a report based on the management of PPE.
It recommends the Ministry of Health regularly review district health boards' health emergency plans to ensure they are complete, up to date and consistent.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says all 10 recommendations made by the Auditor-General are being followed up.
She says we had national stores of PPE... but getting it out to DHBs and community services was not efficient enough.
