An eight-million dollar cash injection for the Hawke's Bay

The Government's pumping money into helping youth into vocational training - and creating jobs in manufacturing, recycling, and horticulture.
Five million will go to a new hostel at the Mitre 10 sports park- and a 3 million dollar loan will be dished out for an additional line at the Hawk Group's manufacturing facility.
Regional Economic Development Under-Secretary Fletcher Tabuteau says it's more important than ever to support the region - hit hard by the economic fallout of COVID-19.
The cash will be paid out through the Provincial Growth Fund.
