The family of a young Southland murder victim will be haunted forever by his death

16-year-old babysitter Daniel Cameron has been sent to jail for life - with a minimum non-parole period of 11 years - for killing nine-year-old Hunter MacIntosh.
Hunter's mother found his body in their Otautau home late last October.
NZ Herald reporter Kurt Bayer was in court - and says his family are heartbroken.
He says they're upset by the sentence - but no sentence will bring their little boy back.
