Air New Zealand has signed up to new Covid-19 guidelines
1 July 2020
It's joined 25 other Star Alliance airlines, that agree to roll out consistent safety standards across every flight.
Passengers will be urged to wear face masks from boarding to disembarking, unless exempted for medical or age reasons.
They'll also give all passengers hygiene supplies, and give all staff adequate PPE.
The airlines have also agreed on procedures for dealing with passengers who develop symptoms of coronavirus during the flight, and procedures for cleaning planes between flights.
Air New Zealand, JetStar and Emirates are resuming many services from today ahead of the school holidays.
