A female tiger has attacked and killed a 55-year-old zookeeper at Zurich's Zoo

A female tiger has attacked and killed a 55-year-old zookeeper at Zurich's Zoo

Rescue crews were unable to save the woman, who died on the spot.

The zoo's director says it's unclear why the keeper was in the cage with the tiger - and the members of the public who saw the attack are being offered counselling.
