The country's latest case of Covid-19 flew in from Italy

The country's latest case of Covid-19 flew in from Italy

The woman in her 20s arrived from Rome on Saturday July 4, via Doha and Sydney.

She'd been in managed isolation at the Christchurch Commodore Airport Hotel and is now in quarantine.

The woman was a close contact of another case so was retested on day 6 and got a positive result.

It brings the total number of active cases to 25.

No one is in hospital in this country because of Covid-19.
