A budgeting adviser is warning rising food prices are putting pressure on Kiwi families

Food went up by 4.1 per cent in the year ending June 2020 - the biggest lift in more than three years.
A major contributor are fruit and vegetables, which have risen by 10 per cent.
FinCap Chief Executive Tim Barnett says it's one of three top concerns, with food, power and rent what he looks at when people come to him in financial hardship.
