Health professionals have been updated on Covid-19 community testing guidelines

This advice has clarified those at higher risk who should be tested.

Dr Ashley Bloomfield says this includes people who likely to have complications, older people with respiratory issues and Maori and Pasifika communities.

He says it's important New Zealanders aren't complacent about the threat of Covid-19 and continue to test within the community.

There are two new cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation.
