Jessica O'Connor and Dion Reynolds were lost for nearly three weeks in May, before being found, safe and well.
Defence Force documents reveal the cost of military involvement was more than 62-thousand-dollars, including the use of a helicopter.
According to police, Search and Rescue costs were about 21 and a half thousand dollars.
The couple's tramp happened during the country's Alert Level Three restrictions - but, police decided not to charge them.
