A bit of rugby followed by a stretch of rehab is the reality for a couple of Crusaders

Ethan Blackadder and David Havili are out for the remainder of Super Rugby Aotearoa after succumbing to injury.

Blackadder had returned from shoulder surgery, but was with the surgeons last night to get a meniscus repair on his knee.

Havili had come back from bowel surgery, but now has a broken thumb in plaster.

Assistant coach Jason Ryan says the pair have had no luck.
