A Nelson lawyer has been ordered to pay Air New Zealand 30 thousand dollars after a travel ban spat

Anjela Sharma was given a one year ban after abusive behaviour towards an airline staff member over a dispute involving the Koru lounge.

The staff member in question had reportedly been in tears after the incident, but Sharma claimed the tears were just for show.

Her bid to quash the ban at the High Court in Auckland was dismissed in February.
