Bus patronage in Wellington is back at 85 per cent of what is was before Covid-19

Metlink data shows ferries are back on track at 98 per cent of June last year.
Rail is the only one lagging behind with patronage at just 69 per cent.
Greater Wellington Regional Council chair Daran Ponter says the resulting revenue shortfalls are nowhere near as bad as first thought.
And he says patronage trends are forecast to increase further, when university students come back.
