There have been multiple break-ins reported to Campus Watch in the last three days - many at flats also visited by men who claim they're doing a research project.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen says they've spoken to the surveyors - who are actually members of a religious group.
He says some of their behaviour is still pretty concerning - such as knocking on doors at 10pm and asking if there are any men at home.
He says that doesn't float too well with police.
