Hopes of seeing Nehe Milner-Skudder in Highlanders colours this year are fading

The former All Blacks wing is still on the recovery trail from a shoulder injury and has yet to feature for the franchise since signing before Super Rugby Aotearoa.

While he's about to get to full contact training, he's expected to test himself in club rugby first.

There's three rounds left in Super Rugby but assistant coach Tony Brown says there remains a glimmer of hope he'll play.
