More understanding as jurors return to courts across the country this week

Jury trials are resuming after being suspended during March.
In mid-July the Chief District Court Judge said the number of jury trials in the system had grown by 500 over the restriction period, taking the total number waiting to be heard to more than three thousand.
Criminal Bar Association president Len Andersen QC says a test run in Dunedin has shown jurors are relaxed about performing their civic duties.
He thinks there's been more sympathy towards jurors who couldn't make it because of work issues - understanding the problems that Covid-19 has caused.
