An arbitration panel ruling against Stars and Stripes almost certainly spells the end of the syndicate's America's Cup challenge

An arbitration panel ruling against Stars and Stripes almost certainly spells the end of the syndicate's America's Cup challenge

The Long Beach-based outfit was seeking clarification if they could use a boat built in another country, namely the defender's "Te Aihe".

The panel's ruled they can't, and Stars and Stripes are now expected to abandon their campaign.

INEOS Team UK, Luna Rossa and American Magic are signed up for the Prada Cup series next year.
