Motorists are being warned they could soon be caught out by having an expired Warrant of Fitness

Motorists are being warned they could soon be caught out by having an expired Warrant of Fitness

The New Zealand Transport Agency confirmed vehicle owners with expired warrants that were extended due to Covid-19, have until October 10 to get their checks done.

Automobile Association General Manager Jonathan Sergel says this affects a large number of cars currently on the road with expired WoFs.

He says it looks like there's around 250 to 300-thousand cars still yet to come back through the system.
