At the party's launch yesterday, leader Jacinda Ardern pledged 311-million-dollars for its 'flexi-wage scheme'.
It'll give businesses a subsidy between seven-thousand-dollars and 22-thousand-dollars, to get people off the benefit.
Business NZ chief executive Kirk Hope says he's applauding the policy -- but says it's just a start.
He says it's hard to access how effective it'll be, without seeing the party's whole economic plan -- which is something Labour needs to work on.
