It's second time lucky for the first person through the walk-in Covid testing centre at Eden Park this morning

It's second time lucky for the first person through the walk-in Covid testing centre at Eden Park this morning

The 22-year old student from Auckland University says he'd been advised to come early for his Covid test, but got a longer walk than he bargained on.

He wasn't told about the change in location from Eden Terrace to Eden Park, so he went to Eden Terrace first.

The pop up testing centre has been moved to Eden Park after the previous site was inundated yesterday, turning walk-in patrons away within minutes of opening, and some drivers waiting up to seven hours to be tested.
