It's thought changes to the revenue drop criteria in the new wage subsidy will help make it more accessible for businesses still getting back on their feet

Under the latest scheme businesses must be facing a revenue drop of at least 40-percent over a minimum 14 days between August 12 and September 10.
The earlier extension requires a 40-percent drop over 30 days in the 40 days before applying.
EMA head of advocacy and strategy Alan McDonald says this gives businesses confidence to hang in there a bit longer.
He says it will give them the confidence to keep those staff employed until the end of level three and we can start getting back to the new normal.
