Three men face serious charges after a manager was assaulted during an attempt to rob a Dunedin car yard, that included the use of a taser

Two men in their 40s and 30s were charged at the Dunedin District Court today with possession of a restricted weapon, threatening to kill and assault with intent to rob.

They will reappear on September 8.

A 30-year-old man facing the same charges will return to court on September 20.

The trio were remanded in custody.

Detective Don Peat says police believe they have found all those responsible.
