Tom Walsh is hoping all of New Zealand's best will be at competition's in Hawke's Bay next month

The kiwi shot putter won't head to Diamond League events in Europe this season, deeming the risks presented by covid-19 to be too high.

But he will compete in three local competitions starting on September 13th, and hopes his old rival Jacko Gill will help strengthen the field.
