Robert Armitstead appeared in the Waitakere District Court today, charged with breaching track closures in the Waitakere Ranges.
He pleaded guilty to one charge of entering a closed part of the track in May last year, but denies the two other charges under the council's Public Safety and Nuisance Bylaw.
The maximum penalty if the case is proved is a 60 thousand dollar fine.
