Calls for a drug for bowel disease sufferers that's widely available overseas, to be available here

A petition for the Government to fund ustekinumab , which is funded in 38 countries worldwide, has nearly 25-thousand signatures.
Crohn's and Colitis clinical nurse specialist Marian O'Connor says patients worry every day, about the cards they've been dealt.
She says they need to be able to provide them with other options, when the current treatments that are available don't work for them anymore.
Pharmac says they've assessed funding applications for ustekinumab and another drug called vedolizumab and ranked them against other medicines they'd like to fund.
It says possible opportunities for investment in new medicines will always exceed the budget Pharmac has available.
