Lee has six-putted from four feet to card a five over par nine on the hole.
He cited a wrist injury for his withdrawal.
Matthew Wolff has the lead of the tournament, he's five under overall after a five-under par 65 on moving day.
Bryson DeChambeau is two shot's back at three under par, with Louis Oosthuizen the only other player under par at one-under.
Wolff says every part of his game came together today.
