A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the death of Sao Young in Hamilton earlier this year

A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the death of Sao Young in Hamilton earlier this year

The Cambodian man's body was discovered on a rural property in Gordonton in April, a month after he was last seen in the Insoll Avenue area of the city.

A man was arrested at a Hamilton address last night and is due to appear in Hamilton District Court tomorrow

Detective Inspector Graham Pitkethley says the homicide investigation is ongoing, with a focus on identifying and seeking out all those present at the time of Young's death.
