Aucklanders who travel across the harbour bridge are still being asked to consider working from home if they can

Aucklanders who travel across the harbour bridge are still being asked to consider working from home if they can

The bridge is only operating at 50 percent capacity, after being damaged on Friday.

NZTA senior journey manager Neil Walker says they're encouraging people to leave cars ar home, and use public transport.

He also advises motorists to use the Western Ring Route, via State Highway's 20 and 18, as an alternative to State Highway One and the bridge.
