The axed Warriors coach will link up with Craig Bellamy as an assistant coach in 2021.

It will be a third stint at the Melbourne NRL club for Kearney, having previously played there, followed by a five year stint as an assistant between 2006 and 2010.

Kearney replaces Jason Ryles, who is leaving to be an assistant under Eddie Jones with the England rugby team.
