    Chris Wood has been named New Zealand's footballer of the year


    The Burnley striker was also named international men's player of the year in last night's online awards ceremony.

    Rebekah Stott was awarded women's player of the year with now departed under-20 and under-23 coach Des Buckingham named coach of the year.

    The young player gongs went to Sarpreet Singh and Claudia Bunge while the men's under-20 side picked up team of the year.
