Police are hoping for no repeats of last weekend's widespread disorder in central Hamilton
3 October 2020
Emergency services were called to several incidents last Saturday night -- including a number of fights and assaults after 1am.
Several people were taken to hospital, but no one was seriously injured.
Hamilton Police say the city centre is a vibrant and fun place to be, and people should have a good time when they go out, but they need to take care of themselves and their mates.
They say there's no surer way of ruin a good night than ending the night in a police station or emergency department.
