Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are launching a 'Beverly Hills 90210' podcast

The two actresses will be looking back on the show which shot them to fame as Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor respectively in '90210MG', as well as giving fans a glimpse into their genuine friendship, and have promised the series will be "really fun"

Tori said: "Sometimes friends can come and go, but we've been friends for 30 years.

"We've gone through decades of change as women, we're moms now and it's really the one relationship that has stayed all this time!

"Fans always say to us, 'We can't believe you're actually best friends. We wanted to do a girlfriends podcast and then blended it with 90210 to do it for the fans. We have a lot to talk about. It's going to be really fun!"

Jennie, 48, admitted the series - which launches on the iHeartRadio app and other podcast providers on 9 November - will mark the first time she's watched any episodes of the classic show all the way through.

She told People magazine: "I don't think I've seen a single episode all the way through.

"But sometimes I'll have it on in the background on the TV when I'm cooking. I see all those youngsters on the TV. I remember those really important connections and friendships that we all had- and all the fun we all had."

The two actress also hope to use the podcast to pay tribute to their late co-star Luke Perry, who died last year after suffering a stroke.

Tori said: "I think it will be a nice celebration to be able to rekindle and see those special moments we created with him."

Jennie added: "My intention is to be able to be happy and just remember."

And the pair think the series will give them the chance to appreciate the series, which ran for 10 seasons until 2000, all over again.

Jennie said: "There were terrible times and really great times. But it was a really incredible 10 years. And I'm excited to look back and appreciate it all over again."
