The vehicle repair industry has been putting its foot down to get through a huge backlog of WOFs

Warrants of Fitness temporarily extended due to covid-19 have to be renewed by tomorrow.

There's still about 800-thousand vehicles that need to be checked -- including those which have Wofs naturally expiring this month.

The Motor Trade Association's Greig Epps says workshops have been working hard to get through as many as they can.

He says in June they completed 130-thousand more inspections than in 2019, and September saw around 50-thousand more this year.
