Police yesterday called for information about the death of Nigel Fuatimu, who died in Jellicoe Park, in Manurewa, late last Saturday night.
They say at least two men attacked Fuatimu and his friends - but there could have been four involved.
Councillor Alf Filipaina says justice needs to be served.
He says the people who committed this crime are cowards, and they should go to the police and face it.
