Calls for employers to look at their drug and alcohol policies before the cannabis referendum

Ballots on the Cannabis Legalisation and Control Bill will start being counted on Saturday night.
Buddle Findlay senior associate Shaun Brookes says employers need to consider whether their drug and alcohol policies are still appropriate.
But he says there could be issues in the workplace with drug testing - because most testing only detects a presence of cannabis.
He says it won't necessarily show whether an employee is impaired.
