    Shock from neighbours of a Christchurch property raided in cannabis drugs bust


    Police confirm they've raided five houses today to uncover cannabis operations - as part of a large-scale probe.

    A neighbour says he noticed many police vehicles on his quiet Mairehau street at about 8am, which is "unusual".

    He says he had no idea what was happening before.

    He says police pulled equipment out of the house, including air vents and fertiliser containers.
