Jetstar is one of the airlines offering quarantine-free flights to New South Wales and the Northern Territories - where passengers don't have to quarantine on arrival.
Operating captain Tony MacDonald says the airline had just ten days to prepare, but they're happy to flex up and down with demand.
Cabin manager Holly Ouwehand says the extra flights were welcomed by some staff, especially as the airline hadn't been offering trans-Tasman flights since April.
She says some of the staff have been 'stood up' to work on these flights, which was a huge relief.
