    A pedestrian has died in Hastings, after being hit on a motorway


    It happened on the Hawke's Bay Expressway just south of York Road just after 11pm.

    The person died at the scene.

    A scene examination has been completed and the road is now open.

    Police say enquiries are ongoing.
