    It's still unclear how the electronic maintenance ports worker caught it.

    Dr Ashley Bloomfield says genomic sequencing shows the strain hasn't been seen in New Zealand before.

    He says it's pleasing to know it's not linked to the recent August outbreak.

    Napier Port is refusing to allow logging ship Ken Rei to dock, with 21 crew on board.
