A first call up for the Silver Ferns for young shooter Grace Nweke

The Mystics shooter joins captain Ameliaranne Ekenasio, Te Paea Selby-Rickit, Maia Wilson and Monica Falkner in the shooting lineup for this week's Cadbury Netball Series.

Head coach Dame Noeline Taurua says Nweke provides them an extra option in the circle.

Meanwhile, Bailey Mes, Katrina Rore and Temalisi Fakahokotau have been ruled out due to injury management and medical reasons.

The series starts on Wednesday.
